I am thrilled to announce our new Chief Operating Officer, Samson Girma! I first had the honor of working with Samson when we served on the same team during our Americorps year with City Year, DC over eight years ago. I was inspired by his work ethic, visionary ideas, team player attitude, and commitment to excellence. He was the first person that I called to be Service Never Sleeps’ co-founder when I got the idea five years ago. Ever since, he has faithfully supported SNS in an advisory capacity until we could bring him on as our full-time COO.
Samson comes to us after working as a Management and Program Analyst for the Corporation for National and Community Service. He brings a diverse skillset of organizational health monitoring and program management. We couldn’t have a better person join the organization during this pivotal time, and I can’t wait to see what new heights we reach with him on our team. Please join me in welcoming him!
