Why This Matters

Black-led organizations are essential drivers of social change, yet they are often underfunded, undervalued, and excluded from key decision-making spaces. This training is an opportunity to understand those realities and take intentional action to shift them.

About the Research

Service Never Sleeps conducted a deep study of Black-led organizations in the DC, Maryland, and Virginia region, using surveys, interviews, and focus groups to capture lived experiences. The findings reveal both the challenges and the opportunities for systemic change, offering a roadmap for funders, allies, and partner organizations to advance racial justice in leadership.
