Allyship Trainings
Join us at one of our trainings to gain the tools you need to be an ally to Black, Indigenous, and people of color and other marginalized people.
We define Allyship as an active way of life in one’s respective areas of privilege that centers bridge-building to pursue social justice for everyone. This is accomplished by centering BIPOC and other marginalized people, working on the self, and influencing others. Using a racial justice lens, our Allyship trainings both teach foundational knowledge about white supremacy while also equipping individuals in real time for addressing discrimination and promoting social justice in everyday life.
We offer a variety of training opportunities for organizations and individuals. Please note that all trainings will be held virtually due to the COVID-19 pandemic. We will update this page when in-person trainings resume. If you need more information, please contact us at info@serviceneversleeps.org.
Allyship for Organizations
Want to bring our Allyship to your group or organization? We offer private, virtual Allyship trainings to organizations. Each training is 7 hours, presented in two 3.5-hour sessions on consecutive days, and costs $10,000. Additional fees apply for groups with more than 50 attendees.
We accommodate one private organizational training per month. Dates for upcoming sessions are released quarterly, and available for sign-up on a first-come, first-serve basis.
To schedule a training or to receive updates about future training dates, please submit an inquiry by clicking the button below.
Allyship for Individuals
We host quarterly open sign-up trainings for individuals to take our Allyship training. These quarterly trainings hosted by Service Never Sleeps are open to any members of the public interested in participating.
We also offer our signature Allyship training in partnership with Equity in the Center. The Equity in the Center training schedule for white allies is available here and for BIPOC allies here.

Cohort Program
Our Allyship Cohort program provides participants with a more in-depth and personalized introduction to Service Never Sleeps’ Allyship principles. The Cohort program combines educational videos and self-reflection with the opportunity to discuss the concepts in a peer-community setting. Each cohort runs for 5 weeks, during which participants engage with curriculum materials independently, and attend weekly group sessions that are facilitated by SNS.
Currently, we do not have any future cohorts scheduled. If you are interested in joining our next cohort, please sign up for our mailing list where we will share information on registration once available.
Race Equity Series
The Race Equity series is our most intensive training package and includes a total of four trainings: our signature Allyship training, White Supremacy 101, Bias & Microaggressions, and Building Equity. This series provides a deep understanding of our Allyship principles and locates anti-Blackness and white supremacy in both current and historical contexts. Leveraging this background, the series culminates with the Building Equity sessions which provide an opportunity for organizations to brainstorm how to apply their learnings to their work.
This series is only available to a select number of organizations each year, with priority given to organizations that have already engaged Service Never Sleeps in other trainings and wish to continue their partnership.
Allyship in Action Program
The Allyship in Action program provides a long-term space for past Allyship training participants to deepen their understanding and implementation of the Allyship principles. Participating groups meet monthly over the course of half a year to continue their learnings and build a community of accountability and support. The Allyship in Action program is only available to organizations or groups that have a long-term partnership with SNS and who have completed the full Race Equity series.
Allyship Summit
Our annual Allyship Summit brings together racial and social justice advocates from across the country to create a community, and help build our Allyship movement. Summit attendees will gain an understanding of our Allyship principles, engage in training on how to effect social change, and connect with local and national leaders committed to social justice.
The next Allyship Summit will be held virtually in October 2022. Interested sponsors are encouraged to reach out.
Capacity Statement
Thank you for your interest in bringing our training and expertise to your community to help you build a culture of Allyship and racial equity. SNS is a small (but mighty!) organization and, does not have the capacity to work with individuals or organizations to provide tailored racial equity resources, trainings, or consultations.
We hope that you are able to engage with our Allyship trainings through one of the above options. If you have any further questions, please contact us at info@serviceneversleeps.org.
"Thank you for taking the time to share with us your experiences.... This training was one of the most influential things in which I have participated in my life. I am so grateful to have all these tools in my toolbelt and am excited to share them with the people around me."
"I have gone through several DEI 'training sessions' over the past few years that provided a good understanding of how we arrived in our state of racial inequality, but they stopped short of presenting actionable steps that can be taken to make change. The framework of Allyship as a lifestyle helps me understand that this is something that needs to be a part of my day, every day, and not just when I witness fair and unjust acts. The speaking points are incredibly valuable, and I plan to review and revisit and understand that the work is never done."
“Thank you for opening up my eyes to a new framework and inspiring me to take action! This session made me uncomfortable and because of that it inspired me to create change - first within myself."
